We haven't been to the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium in years and last week was such amazing weather so we decided to go check it out. What a beautiful zoo it is and the perfect size. We were able to explore and see all the exhibits in about 3 hours. It's such a fun mix of land and sea animals. It was hot but it felt good! The kids's favorite animals were the Shark and the baby Leopards (I think they were some kind of leopard). We packed a lunch and soaked up the sun. It was a great day. No one got sun burnt or lost, and we were all exhausted by the time we left. :)
